if it is friendly bacterias we are talking about

digestion and to combat invaders ,both in the mouth and the stomach

,and lots under the armpits and in our crothches

and we got a little guy hanging on each eyelash and hair that we got
we even got an Alien cell hidden away in acorner of each of our cells
the mind boggles who it belongs to and what will happen when it gets activated.

we are loaded with other forms of life that is not human

we must be like a planet or a god to these life forms

just as we are the bugs .on Gaia.

industrially, bacteria are used commonly for e.g in sewage purification, in making of insulin and they have wide uses in medicine where the bacteria are "cultured" to produce vast amounts of medicines and other anti-biotics.
