I'm going to see this guy I like's band play this Sat-should I wear this black artsy dress with this bright orange tie/scarf thing (kind of funky) or should I wear my denim ripped mini skirt with black tights, a vintage black tee and a black newsboy cap? Should I go with the more classy pretty dress or the punky/urban but still cute denim rocker outfit?? (It's going to be the first time I see him-I wanna make a good impression)

I'd say the denim rocker outfit. You are going to see a band, so most people will be wearing more laid back funky clothing. You want to stand out but not in the "who's the weird girl" way. Save the dress for a first real date with him. Good luck, have fun!

def the denim skirt, would lose the hat though as 1. they are getting a bit dated now and 2. you get hat hair!!
