The persons become friends when they some thong common between them it may be habits , interest , hobbies even problems.
You have to decide that you are looking for a friend in need or indeed accordingly to make friend look for the person ( male/ female) who has some thing common as you have.

it's hard as people around you are already befriends for a long time and they trust each other.
It's not a problem if you look for short-term-mutually advantageous friendship.
For me, I have the best and the only friend,,
others suck as even thru the internet, no one can stay connected more than 1 week.
