In my 65 years I have lost several things I wish I could get back. Many are too personal to name, but the one I most regret losing is my youth, which certainly was wasted on me when I was young enough to enjoy it.
I make the best I can with what I have now, realizing it will never be as much or as fulfilling as it is now or has been in the past. And I hope to make the best of all my years in the future, which I hope will be many and fulfilling in ways I can only dream of now.
When I was young I spilt my milk and cried over the loss. I was told there is no use in crying over spilt milk and I have tried to follow that advice.
But loves lost, opportunities lost, and time lost are things I can appreciate, but not dwell on overly much.

Many years ago I let a friend borrow this cool purple suede hippie vest from the 60s with really long fringe on it, something Jimi Hendrix probably would have worn, and I never got it back from her. I still think about that vest and wish I could get the thing back. Never saw another one like it either.

Yeah I lost my Senior class ring back in 1988 do you know where it is? It Had a purple stone with an old English J on it. Please give it to me if you found it.

TIME....it slipped by so quickly. One minute it seemed I had forever and now Medicare seems closer than I thought possible.
