We must get out of there because the our imperialistic approaches causes the generation of more and more terrorism arount the world.
And our troops beyond the boundaries is the only reason for the world peace

I am not opposed to bringing our troops home. What I am opposed to is telling our enemies exactly when we will do this. As a matter of fact I am opposed to telling the enemy anything at all. I don't want him to know when I will attack or when I will quit.
This latest bill by the democrats shows that they are not ready to be responsible for national security. You DO NOT tell the enemy you will leave in a year.
My personal feeling is we need to stay and finish our work. Then we can come home. However, if we follow the democrat plan, I believe, two things will happen first the enemy will try to kill even more of our young men and women because they want to wipe our country off the map. Then once we leave they will turn Iraq into a killing field and after they have killed anyone who objected Iraq would be a training ground for more terrorists. Who will then come and attack us.
The other thing the democrat plan would do is turn this country into the laughing stock of the world. No terrorist will ever fear us because they know if they hold on long enough we will quit. I think this is exactly what the democrats want. They have no respect for our great country and they want the rest of the world to think that way too.

I think putting a time frame on a departure is just plain ignorant..........Our Military personnel know better than anyone what needs to be done and what they have already accomplished........why not put all ll our military strategies out there publicize everything.then the enemy will know exactly how long to wait and the weakest points they can attack us at..........Isn't that the plan of congress and the senate......i think we should send them over there all together and have a forum with THE PEOPLE of Iraq. The men, women and children........ask them if they want to be free to walk the street and have an education.....earn a living for themselves.......if our men and women are serving a purpose and if they think there is a possibility of success.........
It's like I try to impress upon my children, when you have a job to do, do it the best you can and complete it otherwise you started for nothing, because then the end result is failure. Last I remember we were not quitters or did someone for get to tell me otherwise?

If we do not take control of Iraq & keep control of Iraq or we just go ahead and pull out, It will come back to haunt us with the eventual take over and destruction of the U.S. We need to saturate Iraq with American troops, even if it means a draft. It would cost thousands of lives, but in the long run it will save millions of lives in our country. Of course, there are many ways to destroy us. What would keep them from say blowing up San Francisco with a neucler device. "Hey Americans.do you give up now? If not, we will keep blowing up city after city until you put you

Opposed. Do not bring troops back with out the mission being accomplished. It will destroy morale everywhere, at home and the middle east.
It is worth it in the long run to bring them home when the job is done and let the world see an accomplishment and a great enduring ally.
Don't let us be losers. It starts with the people, by the people and for the people, literally.

I think we can start pulling out. Or we should after this coming fall.
No one knows for sure what'll exactly happen if we stay or if we leave. No one can be sure of anything really. I don't see how you ask someone to go fight for that. So far it has been 'let's see what happens on the ground'. 'Let's see if it improve.' It has been that way for last freaking 4 years.
If they really want Army to fix it then call draft and send million men. Or just get out already instead of having just thousands of soldier work over time with shortened training, shortened supplies.

I think we are all torn between the two options. One option is stay. The logical reason for this goes like this: O.K. let's say a guy asks for a ride home. When I get almost there, he say's "drop me off at the corner". I think, "I might as well give him a ride all the way home". It's like "if you have half a penis stuck up your rectum, then you might as well have a whole one". The other option is, "well you miserable user, let me drop you off here, walk the rest of the way and get your penis out of my rectum". Which option is more logical?

We should get out of there as soon as possible.
We entered Iraq on March 18, 2003 with the alleged purpose of "finding the weapins of mass destruction" and freeing the Iraqi people.
Four years later, we find out that there were no weapons of mass destruction; even the government admitted it Over 60,000 Iraqi civillians have been killed; the same Iraqi civillians this mission was allegedly intending to free. Over 3,200 US soldiers have been killed, over 24,000 wounded in action. The country is in disarray; we've inflicted damage that may take decades to repair. It's time for the US government and "the coalition" to take their collective heads out of their asses, admit that they screwed up, and pull out.
In terms of how things just kep going down hill and how public opinions keeps getting worse and worse, this is really starting to look like Vietnam; and we all know how that turned out.
