Were great artists, painters, writers and musicians out there born with their acute sense of imagination and creativity, or did they work hard at developing one?

Wellllllllll I say both.

I think everyone is born with a talent for something. But you have to work long and hard to realize what that talent may be. I DO believe that some people are going to be naturally better at some things then others. I've seen violinists who barely play at all sound much much better then those who practice constantly...but as I see it, the one who practices will probably be better at something else...if that makes any sense :)

I believe creativity is something you are born with and can expand upon.
