I have a cervix exam tomarrow because im almost due with my baby its really hard to shave or trim my vagina and i was wondering if i should even bother trying to trim it up or we'll my doctor understand???

Keep in mind that most older folk do not really fuss with pubic hair, and think the fussing with kind of slutty. It was not at all popular not that many years ago; it used to be strictly the domain of porn stars and strippers. Unless your doctor is under 25, well...
Your doctor does not need his pregnant patients to have vulvas reminiscent of the pre-pubescent.
You could also nick yourself shaving, and, given what's about to happen, risk infection there.
Yecch. Yeesh. Stubble = not attractive. Learn to like your body as is.

Why are you worried about how your cootchie looks? Are you going to a parade? Don't worry about it. Doctors don't look at you like that. Unless you have dreads down there that make it look like you have buckwheat in a leg lock, you'll be O'TAY. After the baby is born, keep it shaved. Much more sexy. But, that's just a horney male's opinion.

A simple question needs a simple answer. If you feel more comfortable with it shaved, then by all means, go ahead. But I would say it is not necessary, because he/she is a doctor.

OMG. your doctor doesn't care about your vagina hair. what is the world coming too when pregnant ladies shave their vaginas!!! I don't get this at all- i hardly get it with non preggers ladies.
My doctor has never once mentioned my hairy lady parts. lots of people don't want the vagina of their childhood and we go to gynos too and they don't care at all.
do you shave your head when you get your ears examined? do men shave their beards to go to the dentist??

If you got a jungle in the way then hack it down, slash & burn it down. As long as you're clean it'll be alright. Use a fruity shampoo down there.
