they are the wors and have a bunch of taletless people. the only ones i like are shows like american choppers and monster garage.

Mindless people get entertained easily I guess. I'd rather watch golf or even paint dry.

I pondered this question for quite some time-the only plausible explanation I can come up with is that the study of human behavior is fascinating. Regardless, reality shows are hardly 'reality." Do you honestly think advertisers would allow uncut and unrehearsed material to air, with millions on the line? I think not.

an outstanding form of solid shows were on interior the 1990's, yet reality shows arent too undesirable. Its humorous how an outstanding form of ppl. diss reality shows yet secretly watch them as well. There wouldnt be any reality shows if we werent in contact in them. The blame should be directed in the route of us for watching.

They're not popular with me. I don't watch any of them. I've got several friends that depend on background parts, character roles, and atmosphere appearances that can't find work anymore. One has lost his home to forclosure, another couple has divorced due to stress and financial issues....
The more 'reality' there is, it means less scripted roles there are. Its cheaper to make them because they don't have the staff that scripted progarms do. So.... the foundation and backbone of TV Hollywood is fading away.

I don't know. That's a good question, maybe because you think you could see yourself in the game. I mean not really playing but seeing people like you singing or racing or trying to stay alive is just great TV

people find that reality shows are more fun. some feel that it is real and that the contestants are not reading out lines that they have rehearsed for days.
it is also popular as it shows real people in real situations and how they deal with what is happening to them.

I think we enjoy them because it makes us feel better about our lives. That we are not as screwed up as many others out there.

They're cheap to make and fun to watch...don't take them so seriously, and you might just find a good show!!

They are so funny!!!!.....the only reason ppl like them are cuz they are like a soap opera only real and much faster...so much drama and action...lol!! no thinking required.....
