HELP! My WIRELESS NETWORK CONNECTION got lost from my Network Connections in Control Panel.?

I cannot connect to the internet because I can't find the wireless network connection. My laptop is capable of connected wireless. However, when i turned it on one day it just got lost. I didn't install any program recently. What could have gone wrong? What should I do to have it back?

Well you could go through a long process to check the card etc. But, simply re-installing the wireless driver for your system should restore the wireless functions. If this is a "built-in" you will need to download the driver or get it from the Cd's that came with your system.

You can easily do this from control panel, system, click on the hardware tab, then click device manager. If you see your wireless card under networking just remove it! Then reboot and see if it simply recovers. If not then add hardware and reinstall the drivers. If that still does not work, your wireless adapter has failed and you need some hardware service..
