I take mine at night. Doesn't matter really, just as long as you're consistent.

Side effects? Well, there are a lot, depending on individual reactions to the pill. Some women experience increased breast size, weight gain, stomach ache, etc. The only side effect I had was trouble wearing contacts due to a temporary swelling of blood vessels, but no biggie, problem went away after about a month.

If you experience anything too uncomfortable, talk to the doc. There are other pills w/ different hormone levels so you can find something that works best for you.

Goooooood luck!

Yes you will start them on Sunday April the 1st....It does not matter what time of day you take them just take it at the same time each day...some people have a little bit of nausea with the start of them so I would suggest that you take them before bed each night ..when you have food in your stomach...Loestrin fe is usually a 28 day pill pack...meaning that you will always be taking a pill the pills on the last row contain iron(fe) which is when you should have your period...Your period should be much lighter than you are use to...also with the beginning of taking you may have some spotting...do not stop taking them..this will stop on its on.....Good Luck..

Yep take them on the first of April.
The side-effects can include weight gain, yeast infections, headaches, changes in mood and sex drive, sore breasts, spotting (this stops after a few cycles), nausea, bloating and a few other things. However, you probably wont get any of these. All that happened to me was that my bra size went up a few cups.
The good thing is that it regulates your periods, reduces the risk of you getting some cancers and reduces acne.
You should not smoke while on the pill, as it increases your chance of a heartattack or stroke.
If you get a sharp persistant pain in your chest, legs, or head seek medical help immediately, you may have a blood clot.
But dont worry most people take the pill with few side-effects
Good luck sweetie!

Yes, you will need to start them the 1st. Starting them sooner could mess up the cycle when it comes to your body trying to adjust to the pill.

As for the time of day you take them you can take them any time of the day, but if you decide to try taking it during the day and find that you have a problem with taking them during the day such as getting nausea then try taking it at nite.

I take mine at nite time because I had problems in the past with nausea from taking it earlier in the day.

One of the symptoms of birth control pills can be weight gain which is mostly water and that weight gain is an average of about 5 to 10 pounds. Breast tenderness is another symptom and that's because of the hormones in your body. I had to wear a larger sized bra because of that.

Pls contact your dr if you have additional questions.
