I could go on and on for hours about MB. I visit there a couple of times a year!! It is GREAT!! As far as bars and nighlife, I am clueless. There are a couple of different beaches you could visit, Surf Side, Garden City, Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island, North Myrtle Beach, Cherry Grove, etc. My favorite is good ole MB. I usually stay on the north side of the boulevard, so I can be close to the shops. It is a city where everyone is happy go lucky. People from the south are so nice. The shopping is great!! You could visit Tanger Outlet at 2 locations, 501 and Hwy 17N. Each outlet has a variety of shops, each with some great deals, on everything from clothes to specialty candies.Also, you could visit Barefoot Landing or Broadway at the Beach. These are shopping areas that also have restaurants, attractions, etc. They are really nice. If you like to golf, MB is the place to go, whether you are a rookie or a pro. They have VERY MANY putt putt courses and Pro golf courses to offer. Attractions to visit are Ripleys Aquarium located at Broadway at the Beach, Ripleys Museum, and House of Horror located on North Ocean Blvd., Family Kingdom Amusement Park, Myrtle Waves, Nascar Cafe and Speedway, Alligator Adventure, and the Zoo. My favorite restaurant is Sticky Fingers Ribhouse. They have the best ribs and bbq, and the atmosphere is laid back. I hope this helps, have a great time!!

I just went to MB this past weekend. Great place to vacation. Spring and fall are the best times to go. Summer is really crowded. Lots to do. Check out Broadway at the Beach. It has lots of things to do. A lot of bars and nightclubs. They are building a new amusement park there also. It is suppose to be open in July.

I love it....But they shut down the pavillion. No more rides. But the bars are nice. Marvins...that's where I always go...it's right on the beach. Everybody loves everybody. Drink and Drink...live life to the fullness. NOT A PLACE TO GO WHILE PREGNANT, unless you just want to walk around. Other than that it's great. Watch out for SHARKS. VERY close to SHORE

Great place you should def go for vacation, very friendly and not crowded.
