I thought it was kind of interesting, I didn't realize there were so many species that showed homosexual tendencies.

Many people are unaware of that. If you notice many religious fanatics use the excuse "homosexuality is not natural" and "it's not found in any creature but humans" to justify their claims that homosexuality is a choice, but there is many research that proves those claims wrong. Good for you to find such information.

(as an interesting side note, in "nature" you find animals like dogs humping other animals (humans, cats, etc) and insects that attempt to mate with flowers. My point? If you use their logic and look at nature, then we would have to accept beastiality and intercourse with plants. lol)

It's very amusing, also not surprising. I guess it brings home the point that we are all creatures and have certain needs in common. Who really cares if they are being met by the same sex or a different one, right?
