There are many malls in Manila. What I recommend is that you dont miss SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. Did you know that it is the 3rd largest mall in the world?

At night, visit the Baywalk! It is along Roxas Boulevard near SM Mall of Asia.

The Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, in Roxas Boulevard is a place where you can jog and bike. There are bikes there for rent. The Cultural Center of the Philippines was a project of the Former First President Imelda Romualdes Marcos where ballets, plays are being performed. It was really a nice place to go to during the Marcos Regime.

The Folk Arts Theater, in the CCP Complex is where the 1974 Miss Universe Pageant was held.

The Philippine International Convention Center at the CCP Complex is where conventions, concert are held.

INTRAMUROS, is the proof of Spanish being here in the Philippines x 300 years. There are restaurants here. San Agustin and Manila Cathedral are both Catholic Churches dating back to Spanish regime. Visit Fort Santiago where Dr. Jose Rizal was held in exile before his death. He is our national hero. It is also here where Letran, Mapua and Lyceum are situated. These are universities here in Manila.

LUNETA is where the monument of Dr. Jose Rizal is located.

Ongpin is Manila's Chinatown. Divisoria is a favorite place among local residents, balikbayans ( Filipinos visiting back home from abroad) and foreigners since goods here are cheaper than in the Malls. Tutuban, Divisoria Mall and 168 are famous. There are also goods sold in the street. It is like Mongkok of Hongkong but definitely this isnt a night market. It is usually open Monday to Saturdays as early as 7am-5pm.

The University of Santo Tomas in Espana, Manila is the oldest university of the Philippines and probably one of the oldest also in Asia. It was were Dr. Jose Rizal studied. Try to visit the UST Church and the UST Hospital in the compound!

Go to the Baywalk, Roxas Boulevard at night. You can walk and eat on the sea side and and be entertained some bands.
You can also go to Intramuros for historical sites and the biggest mall in the Philippines, the SM Mall of Asia. If you want to go to the Casino, there's also one along Roxas Boulevard.

Manila offers varied choices to visit depending on your taste.
For the nightlife go to Timog avenue in Q.C.,Mabini in the Malate area, Eastwood area and the Makati nightspots in the financial district. For arts and culture go to Angono,Rizal at the Blanco atelier, or visit the artist community in U.P. If you love nature this is the best time to go out of manila and swim and laze in the beaches of Boracay,Bohol,Palawan, Cebu. Or visit the mountains of Baguio.Go and discover!
