Just wondering, because I've been seeing some answers which say: "Protest and you should be shot as a terrorist sympthathizer", "Speak against Bush and go to Gitmo", and...
The list goes on.

Because in the past, speaking up and taking a stand had bad results, it resulted in deaths and intimidation from the goverment. That's why alot of people refuse to speak up for themselves.

Yeah... I especially like the folks who promote censorship, especially online because certain words hurt their feelings. They even employ little tattle-tale buttons ("Report Abuse" anyone?). They like to call it "hate speech," but can't tolerate the concept of the sword cutting both ways. Essentially, "You have the freedom of speech, except for the following words:"
(Let's see how many of these get through the 'ol Yahoo! politically-correct 1st Amendment filter ...)

They don't really hate freedom of speech or rights . . . well . . they hate those who disagree with them having the same rights as they do. They want others to shut the hell up so they get their way the easy way. Hmmm . . . that's what Stalin thought and the Great Purge began.

people don't hate our rights they just hate it when people get on here and say stupid things that they know nothing about personally conspiracy theories kill me.
