Your sister is a part of you and you should at least cherish that, if nothing else. Your two personallities might clash at some point, but keep in mind that you are of the same blood. ie, you came from the two parents who loved you both.
I often resented my sister for being more outgoing than I am and having more friends, being older, having the lead role in the school play, etc.
Now, I'm just glad to hear from her. We never had a good relationship because my parents always favored her, and that led to a lot of negativity from me.... Just try to be her friend and if she refuses that, then you will come out the stronger person in the end.
Turns out, my sister is not doing so great, she treats her son like garbage while trying to impress many guy friends. I feel so sorry for my nephew, I wish he could come live with us.
Stubborness is a means of being defensive. Take her off guard and do something nice for her maybe?

It just really depends on how old your sister is. If she's a little child sister, and becoming more stubborn, maybe she needs more sleep and more parental supervision. If she's a teenager sister, she is just exerting her independence, and the two of you need to work on establishing a relationship that is mutually respectful. If she's older than you, then that's a different story all together, and you two need to just sit down and talk about your differences and what you can do to solve problems and live together in the same household peaceably.

Well siblings are always a pain, that is their reason for living... but seriously...... your sibling might be straving for attention, even if its bad attention, at least its something in her subconcience mind, Your sibling might be dealing with a diffcult time in her life, maybe spending some time with her on a sibling level will help that go away, maybe even gain your trust so that she can talk to you,
Most time children or siblings go through their stages, and though she may be just trying to push her limits to see how far she can get with you or your parents, this is a time to take in account events that may have come about to cause such reaction.
Talking to her is not going to do it, but gaining her trust and being a good example may change it, something you might want to think about.
