Some high ranking Army officers are investigating the death of Pat Tillman as we speak. Why? Well Pat Tillmans family believes that the death of there former NFL star son Pat Tillman, was unjustified. The whole situation seemed "out of place". Many ARMY officers claim that the killing was done due to "friendly fire", but there have been reports of other soldiers who were jealout of Pat and felt that the mission was being "distracted"... Well I dont think it would take much to distract a group of young soldiers, I believe that they were a bit distracted with a NFL star around.

What do you think? Was he killed? or Murdered?
Either way... He is still a hero in my books.
Pat Tillman a true hero.... May you rest in peace

I agree with his mother, who said last night that she cannot rule out the possibility that her son was killed on purpose.

The US government -- from the president on down -- used the tale of Tillman's heroism to deflect the nation's attention from the Abu Ghraib prison scandal and the escalating American casualties in Iraq. Then we find out that this indeed was a "tale" and not how he died at all. Then there are reports that Tillman may have spoken out against the Iraq War.

The army burned his diary. The Pentagon's inspector general concludes that nine top officers were involved in the cover-up of his "friendly fire" death. The army burned his diary. The initial story was a lie. There was a high level cover up. Questions remained unanswered. Anyone who thinks they know for sure what happened are kidding themselves. The Tillman family remains unconvinced about the government's latest story.

However he died, initially the army and goverment lied about his death and exploited it for proganda purposes.

No some idiots fired on him thinking he was the enemy but the problem is the current administration tried to cover up the fact he was hit by friendly fire and made a hero out of him to keep hyping their stupid war. Now the truth is out we all know what liars are in the White House and the spin doctors of the nation.
Tillman thought he was doing the right thing. He believed all the lies about Saddam and Iraq: yes he is a real hero but it's so sad we had to lose him.

No I think it was the fog of war.
I am unter the impression that tilmans position was engauging talliban on a hill on the other side of a vally and the troops in the vally were being fired on from one side. Tilman was providing cover fire.
BUT the troops in the vally thaugh that he was taliban.
