SI thinks the Angels will beat the Dodgers in the WS. If that is the WS, it would be the most BORING world series ever played, well not as boring as that cards/tigers one. Which was the 2nd lowest rated WS EVER! But I do think the dodgers can beat the cardinals. The cardinals wont be any good this year. Their entire rotation is gone. Unless Carpenter, Wainwright, and Reyes can pitch every 3rd day or Carpenter could pitch everyday. But yeah, the Cardinals will finish 3rd in the NL Central behind the Astros and Cubs. Dodgers will win the west but lose in the first round. To the WC winner.

Im an Astros fan, but the Dodgers are one of the handful of teams that i do enjoy watching. I think the additions of Juan Pierre, Luis Gonzalez, Wilson Betemit, and Jason Schmidt will really help the Dodgers. They may have on of the best rotations with Lowe, Penny, Schmidt, Tomko, and Wolf, that may be the best 5 starting pitchers. Their lineup has great balance and mix of speed, power, and average. Furcal and Pierre offer GREAT speed, good avg, a little pop, and some solid defense. Kent, Betemit, Ethier (when he returns), Gonzalez, and Garciappara can all hit for avg, solid all around players, and they offer up the power of the lineup. Betemit is gonna be a hell of an addition for the Dodgers, he is a diamond in the rough and i cant believe ATL let him go. He will hit about .290 with about 25 HR's this season. Ethier getting hurt could hurt the Dodgers but picking up Brady Clark was a great move and should keep them at bay until Ethier returns.
I think the Dodgers play the Phillies for the NL Championship this season......

we got so many new players finally. I woudld have nevered imagined Jason Schdmit and Juan Pierre being a Dodger, but here they are!
we're gonna win the playoffs and the world series =D

First you need to beat the Padres, Giants, D-Backs and Rocks before you think of beating the other divisions.

Mets-Beltran,Reyes,Wright,Delgado,LoDuca,Martinez.
Cardinals-Pujouls,Rolen,Cardpenter,Eckstein,Edmonds.
Dodgers-Shmith,Lowe,kent,pierre.
Im a met fan they probalbly can beat them but relly they wont because the mets and cardinals both have excellent great potential and talen.

I really believe they have a chance. But they do have to make it out of the first round of the playoffs, they have not done that in a long time.They need to stay healthy. Go DODGERSS
