i have this really cute pair of pinstripe pants that i forgot about until a couple days ago. i really want to wear them, but i can't find any shirts that look cute without looking too businessy or make my outfit look awkwardly put together.
any ideas?

A solid colored teeshirt looks best with pinstripes. For example, if it's black with white pinstripes, go for a plain black fitted tee shirt with a slightly longer camisole underneath (layering is still so in) in a bright color, like yellow or hot pink. Then add on a unique accessory and you're good to go. Simple, but trendy.

Pinstripe pants are Hott for the legs. They make us look taller and lean.
Also if you don't wanna look business-like. You could wear it with a fitted t shirt or tank - even a white tank with accessories - like a long necklace will go good with it.

Wear a fitted band tee, or if you have like a kind of plain tee from like pacsun with a brand on it that you like. Pair it with chuck taylors if you wear those, or flip flops if its warm enough where you live. Dont do the business look unless you work in a bank or are over 30. Make sure to wear a cute necklace, bracelet, and/or earrings. Thats just my opinion.

A collared, short sleeve, V-neck fitted shirt that is a solid color close to the pin stripe color , would be great because it's sexy, casual, and so chic. You won't look too put together unless you throw on a bunch of accessories "go simple on the shoes and earrings". :)

What about a funky spaghetti strap tank top.
Do not wear polka dots with pin stripes! It will look terrible.

I like them because they make my legs look thinner. I usually just wear a button down blouse or a boy's shirt untucked over them. ankle boots with heels also make them look less dressy.
