I personally only watched the first season and i'm surprised. But i heard that "crying" girl was an actor they had cry when on camera. Very cheesy of american idol.

it was super-cheesy. cheesier than a truckload of Doritos. not only was it, well, cheesy, it was creepy. she looked in pain. no actual tears came from her, did you notice? she had this look on her face that was neither joy nor pain, a squinted up grimace held frozen during each of the 1,473 times Idol producers showed her. i hate it more and more the more i think about it. i hope she's not on there again.

The whole show is cheesy, thus it never graces my television. Well, that's not true, it's fun to watch the initial auditions with Randy, Simon & Paula's reactions.

I think that poor girl is going to be teased relentlessly in school for a long time.

she just got too starstruck, you can't blame her for that. we all have different reactions when we would see our fave stars. but i think she was kinda exploited, that they made a huge fuss over her, a simple girl overcame by emotions

I don't think the kid was cheesy. She was just an overly emotional kid. The way they used her was cheesy.

i think you are missing the whole point or not even considering the emotions of this young lady. haven't you ever been so moved by something or someone? i really don't think she cares who felt what about her reaction because its hers and she and no one else owns it.
