i'm not exactly sure if that's how it is spelled but I've heard a lot of things for example..... if ur oven and ur sink are facing eachother its bad luck, so in that case u should have a green rug or something green in between. And that nine oranges in a bowl is good luck. Or other things like that.. Is this true?

Yes I believe in feng shui and I think a lot of rich people likes to consult some feng shui master when arranging their furnitures at home or in the office or placing of auspicious items in their areas

Some even ask these masters to help in finding an auspicious location for their office building or in designing the structure of the building to ensure smooth operation and booming business like buildings in Hong Kong and Singapore. Bookstores sell books on feng shui and if you are keen, you can get one for reference and who knows, you may become more prosperous and have better luck. Have fun.

oven or stove is fire, which is money or at least it can draw in money. water is also money. when both of these faces each other, they exterminate each other - leaving you with no money. putting something green in the middle is like having wood (green) to mediate between the 2 elements. but this is too simple for feng shui.

in the kitchen, the most important is the location of your kitchen in relation to the center of your house. if you position your stove/ oven properly at the correct location, it can attract more money into your life - then you become lucky! this is luckier than having a bow of 9 oranges.

It may sound stupid to some but it works for me. I took away my knife block and put the knives in a drawer to promote a better feeling in my kitchen. (the book said something about taking the "sharp points" and hiding them to promote a better feeling?) I got rid of potpourri (which is essentially dead flowers) and replaced that with fresh ones whenever possible. I decluttered my space and feel like I can think again. Sometimes the weird stuff works! (hubby says I am a better cook too. Well he IS gaining weight, LOL)
