OMG, are you nesting with a household asleep?

Torture!!!!!

Now if it is just your mind on tomorrows events....Play Deal or No Deal online. I thought it would be more fun. I fell a sleep at my computer last week playing it lol.

Or just trun off everything and deep breath. Say the word Blue over and over. i read this on hypno birthing site. I guess the word has a major calming effect on the brain. *strange i know* but worth trying.
Congrats

I've had 5 children and with 2 of them I was hyper the day before I went into labour. One I scrubbed the house from top to bottom and the other I just got really agitated and grumpy. I couldn't sit still at all! Probably things will start to get going soon so try to relax a little bit if you can and good luck!

Haha, sounds like me 2 days before my scheduled induction. The doctor said I could go into labor any day (also 37 wks) so I just sat there at night expecting it. I guess you can just stay on here and answer some questions or play games. Sometimes I turn on the Weather Channel... that puts me to sleep. Good luck tomorrow!!

oh yes i completely understand what you are going through. i am 39 weeks pregnant as well. the last 4 days i haven't slept the greatest. as you can see its 4am and im still wide awake and cant sleep. i have done all the cleaning and disinfecting in my house, as well as have everything packed. now my doctor told me that this is completely natural to do. its just your body getting ready for when your baby comes. if you can try to lay down and watch a movie, or have a nice hot bath with some epsom salt to relax yourself. your day is coming, so i wish you all the best..

good luck

Yes, we all get antsy. I'm guessing this is your first. If you knew what was coming ahead, you'd enjoy this moment of having nothing to do. Try writing a letter to your unborn baby... letting him/her know your thoughts in these hours. You will also get a kick out of reading it some time down the line. Write down what you think motherhood will be like... and then read it six months from now. Take some pictures of your belly... do your toe nails... eat some celery... read a magazine cover to cover. You may not have the time for these types of things in a few short weeks.
Good luck....

It sounds like your 'nesting' doing everything you have described. Labour shouldn't be to far away. And bugger everyone else, clean your house. The baby will keep everyone awake for the next few months so think of it as an entree.
