Amish usually refers to members of several Anabaptist Christian (Mennonite) denominations in North America (many in and around Ohio and Pennsylvania).

They are primarily known for their plain manner of dress and very limited use of technology (using horse and buggy rather than cars, little to no electricity, etc).
