My teenage children's English language is slacking a lot. They will be taking their O level entrance examination end of this year. Their weakness are comprehension passages, vocabulary and summary. Can someone please guide me?

Speak to them only in English as much as possible.
Let me watch movies and TV in English.
Listen to lots of music in English.

Well to improve their language, the cheapest way if not most effective way is to check on their progress regularily and give help whenever possible.

To improve vocabulary you could give them 1 word a day to learn, over a long period if you stick to this he will slowly build up his vocabulary.

Well for comprehension passages, you may encourage them to read more, this will make them understand how most stories and set out and help them find what they are looking for in an exam situation.

To improve summary writing, the only way out of school is to hire a tutor, the tutor will show them the best possible way to go at the summary.

There is a sofware program called Rosetta Stone. It can teach you to speak a language fluently within a month. Consider buying it.

Practice is the only way. Go to the library for text books for practice.

If your kid's don't know English by this age....

then they are pretty much screwed in today's society, keep them in their native country w/ their first language, learning another language will be bad and will hurt them mentally.
