Well, since I was a cop for well over 20 years, I guess I'm a bit biased on this question. I worked with some of the finest people I have ever met in law enforcement. The friends of mine who were killed in the line of duty are sorely missed.
I also worked with some people who shouldn't have been cops, and I worked to get them into some other line of work. We all suffered when one person got "badge heavy" and took out their frustrations on the public.
So, because cops come from the human gene pool, you have all shades of good, not so good and those inbetween.
I understand the concerns about crooked cops, and a Chief of Police who was totally untrustworthy helped me decide it was time to retire and leave the job I wanted to do since I was 10 years old.
I tell you this, when you have shared life and death moments with someone, you develop a bond like no other. I would willingly have given my life for any of my brother and sister officers, and they the same for me.

I work with them everyday, I'M a 911 dispatcher, I like some and some I cannot stand. Its usually the young pups that I have trouble with. Ive been doing my job 13 years and do not take kindly to a 20 year old trying to show me up on the radio.

I'm okay with law enforcement. It's about the person, the officier, not categorize the group as a whole, that's bullcrap. You do that to a race and that's discrimination. So why judge a person just based on their profession? Judge a person based on their actions, not on what they do for a living. If you judge someone based on what they do you are no better then the person you'd judging...that's just a load of bull. People are who they are. You certainly wouldn't hate a cop if he/she died saving your life, or were arresting someone who harmed a loved one in your life, so don't go hating them for doing their job.

You have got to get down to the real basics of "cops" or "blacks" or any generalizing of any race profession ect.
Some people are intimidated by a hairstylist. Just remember that there is good an d bed in all races and types of people.

Not when they are shining their lights through the fogged up windows, just to take a peak at you doing your business, in a dark secluded spot in Lover's point with no people around.
Perverted cops...nothing better to do then spoil the moment.

I have nothing to be nervous about. I live a clean life so cops don't bother me at all.

I guess it depends on the cop. Some of them are pigs and some of them are really nice. Regardless, a lot of them do look great in their uniforms.

I don't have a problem with them. Actually I dated one a bit ago. Nice guy but a little crooked and conceited. I am sure not all are like that.
