i would call and complain. find out who she is and why it ha not been settled yet. you might even be able to get your atty to call the judge and tell them whats going on. my divorce took 3 yrs to become final and then it only did that because i told my atty i wanted over that day we went to court. mind you we were in court almost all day because we couldn't come to an agreement but it did finally end that day and again i didn't even get the final degree until 3 months later lol so I'm not real sure when my divorce was final. but ask your atty to talk to the judge and see if he can get things going faster. alot of times that does help.

hmm. I am in canada so obviously laws are probably different but i am going through court right now with ex. Here in canada the respondent has 30 days to give answer to court after being served. if they do not reply the applicant can ask for an initial court date and the other party will not be notified of the date or time. At the court date the judge can make a ruling in the respondents abscence or make and order in which they have to reply. if they do not can be fined by court or found in contempt etc. hope its similar where you are .. good luck

Do you have her phone number? Or do you have an attorney on this divorce? If you have an attorney, please ask him/her aobut getting this report done. If on your own, you could possibly go pro se and ask the court to check on this report status. I understand how GAL's get busy with cases, but 4 months is way too long to wait. This person may be in contempt of court for not having it ready on time. If you have an attorney, or can call a local attorney office and get a half hour free consultation, that would be most beneficial for you on this one. I wish you the best. Take care.
