So there's this girl, and we're pretty good friends. You know, we acknowledge each other out of class and say 'hey' and all that.
Well, i've been going out with this guy for about... uh... 2 months or so, and apparently, she does not like this guy. I hate it when she makes comments about him. I'll be like,
"Oh he got a haircut today." and she will say,
"Oh. Is it uglier? Notice how i said uglier, not ugly! haha!" and she expects me to laugh or something. she asks stupid questions like,
"have you guys made out yet? Ewwwww!"
i KNOW she does not like him. so don't think that she does. She's usually very nice, but lately she's becoming unbearably mean about my bf and everything.
help?!

just tell her as a friend you cant just stand there and let some one put your b/f down in front of you also tell her you wouldn't let any one talk bad of her either (in your presence). She may know something about him that your not aware of yet, or she could want him for herself who knows but it just comes down to her showing a little respect just say to her You have made it quiet clear that you don't approve of him so just drop it, you had heard it enough already. If she doesn't stop then well she doesn't care about your feelings there for she is not a good person for you to be hanging out with anyway Good luck

If you love your boyfriend enough then her comments shouldn't effect you. Those remarks are quite immature. It's obvious that she doesn't agree that you're with him, but tell her she's said enough and you don't appreciate it. If you don't say anything she'll continue to state these put downs thinking it's ok. She should be supporting you and your choices no matter the circumstance. Friends will sometimes ask to "re-evaluate" your judgement on the person. That's what friends are for. But it sounds like she's not even speaking in way that would help, but out of contempt.

Honey, nip it in the bud, just tell her you do not appreciate her comments about your b/f, because you are the one that needs to like him, no one else....and if she continues than just sort of give some space in your friendship....there are many girls who are supposedly your friends, and they are jealous and can make you think you are doing something wrong. If you really like him, that is what is important. Just be honest and tell her, hey, I know your my friend but I don't like your attitude towards my b/f. Plain and simple, truth always works.
Good Luck.

Some friends get jealous when they see that there friends are dating someone. I think that this could be the problem. I would just tell her that you do not like it when she says mean things about your boyfriend. Are you sure that she does not like him?

Tell her it's none of her business. Everytime she tries to talk to you interupt her and walk off with out speaking to her., Ahh excuse me, mouse squeaking, gotta go.... Treat her with no respect, then she will learn you dont care.

It doesn't sound like she doesn't like him, love. It sounds like she wants him, she us trying to turn you off of him so she can have a crack.
Answer back with smarter comments, like "He is the hottest kisser I have ever experienced. At least I don't have to worry about you trying to steal him away from me. ....."
Watch her and watch your back!
