The only product I have found that works after the garment has been washed and dried is Desolve-it. I have purchased it at Walmart. It works the first time every time on garments that have had the oil stains set in by the dryer. In fact sometimes I don't see the stain until it has been heated and set by the dryer.

Good Luck.

Dish detergent works absolute wonders. My two boys have yet to learn the fine art of using a napkin-they constantly wipe their greasy fingers on their shirts. I can't count the number of shirts that have been washed only to realize later they had oily, greasy stains on them. Rub a bit of dish detergent (Dawn works best) on the stain and wash as usual. It comes right out!

I use chalk on grease spots as it "absorbs" any grease stains (before washing). If you've already washed/dried the item that's okay. Use the chalk on the spot and wash and dry again.
You may have to do this once or twice, but it works great!

I use Zout for cooking oil spatters and stains. It works amazingly well.
