The movie will probably be remembered for the phrase Carpe Diem - sieze the day. Its about choices in life and the sacrifise we have to make in making those choices. Robin Williams was good in the movie.

I thought it was an okay movie with the typical admiration for weird teacher and how they come to worship him - albeit a romantic view about liberal ideals against conservative establishments. And there is a price to pay going against the status quo. The dramatic consequences to those who followed their feelings are the show's most powerful moments.

The film sells the idea to better to live a life than just live for the sake of living.

The strength of the movie is that each of of us has the power to break away from the norm and make our own paths in life. We need to seize the day for what it's worth, to take a chance without fear of the possibility failure.

The strength from within oneself. To overcome personal trials and tribulations being guided. That's what I see.
