It's anybody's game in football.
Last year they had some crucial players get injured during the "run for the superbowl" time of the year.

Over the last 20 years they have had their up's and downs both quarterback, player, and coaching wise.

Mike Holmgren will lead them to the Superbowl if it can be done. Matt Hasselbeck is a fast thinking, hard throwing accurate QB. Partner that with Shaun Alexander, Dionne Branch, and the rest of their offensive line they are a strong force when they need to be.

I agree that they made some mistakes last season, so did the Bears who made it the big game. It takes the want and the drive to get to the Superbowl, and the Seahawks want it bad. They had a taste of it when they played Pittsburg and they will get there again.

The thing about the Seahawks that not every team has, is their fans in Seattle. If you have ever been to a Hawks game in Qwest field you know what I am talking about, the Seattle fans LOVE their team, win or lose, and in football Seattle had been known league wide for having the loudest loyalest, and most dedicated fans in the NFL.

The hawks have, and always had something to prove.
Over the years they have been swept under the carpet by the majority of the NFL big mouths. Even in the 2005 season where they dominated the league they were still put down.
They have some very very talented players in all the right spots. Say what you will about the team, but they are going to come out swinging, and not stop until they all are wearing that ever so important ring.

To answer the question of "If they will win the Superbowl", I would say, that when they get there they WILL win

If I was a betting man, I wouldn't bet on Seattle to win the superbowl next season. I think the best teams are in the AFC, take a look at New England. They are consistantely one of the most well-rounded teams in the league and they all ready 3 championships this season.

Indianapolis has best offense in the league and we've see how well the Colts defense held up in the playoffs this past season.

Baltimore will likely once again provide a menacing defense (that kept Peyton out of the endzone in the playoffs, held LT to under 100 yards rushing with no TDs in a win over the Chargers). The Ravens can be dangerous if they get stable production from their offense. Even with the loss of Adalius Thomas, the Ravens defense still figures to be quite good in 07.

I can't really point any teams from the NFC that I think are well-rounded enough to win against the AFC in the superbowl. Does Seattle have the defense to contain Manning and company if the best NFC defense of 06 wasn't able to get it done in the superbowl for example?

I gotta agree that the Niners are winning the division. they beat Seattle twice with far lest talent. The niners now have some talent on the team and with 10 picks in the draft the niners are going to come away with some talent. Gore ran all over the Seahwks last year and will continue to do the same. The Seahawks have improved but I think the 49ers have improved more. The Seahawks will probably not go to the Superbowl also because the Saints are very good in the NFC and I still think the Saints are better.

I think they have one of the best chances in the nfc to go back. They made it to the second round of the play offs considering they didnt have their top dawgs for half the season. True san fran has improved their roster this offseason but so have the hawks. Gore was the only reason they gave us such a hard time last year. The hawks have mostly focused on the defensive side of the ball with signings of some pretty high profile guys. Seattle will still own the nfc west!

this isn't achieveable to foretell. There are 32 communities interior the NFL, and about 10-16 sensible images at being the champions (Seahawks, Niners, Packers, Ravens, Patriots, Broncos, Texans, Redskins, Saints, Falcons, Bucs, Bears, Colts, Phins, Giants, etc.). for sure a number of those communities are extra elite than others (i could say SEA is a lock acceptable 5 crew) yet with injuries and the large volume of competition, it isn't ordinary to assert.

Seattle is a good team, theyve made some good moves, but they are not going to win the SB next season. They were a huge disappointment last season and im still not sold on Matt Hasselbeck, he had 1 good run (when they lost the SB to the Steelers) but other than that what else has he done? Shaun Alexander is a beast, but i do not believe he alone can carry them. Their D got a little better with the addition of Patrick Kerney but they lost Ken Hamlin. Who knows but i just dont think they are on the level of the Patriots, Bears, Colts, Chargers, Saints, and Broncos.

Who knows. We will have to see who comes up to the team and who leaves if anyone does. I think if some of last seasons rookies stay we have a shot at it. Are you a hawks fan? Cool, I love them winning or loosing!
