It's just a little homework assignment, I gotta survey people asking them what "integrity" means to them. Don't look in a dictionary. Just tell me what you think about when you hear that word.

Integrity to me means to have ambition, staying focus and being goal oriented and that's not looking in the dictionary or encyclopedia

Ok, to me if someone has "integrity," they have self-respect, as well as respect for others. They value their "honor." They stand by their convictions, as long as they believe their convictions are right. You can't bribe or "buy" someone with integrity, because they are morally above anything of that nature (they don't cheat, lie, steal, etc.) You can trust their word. They are reliable & dependable... at least to their beliefs, and always try to do the right thing. They are mentally strong. Just as in anything~ like a bridge, or a house for example, if the integrity of the structure is weak or not there, it will crumble and fall. To summarize, I guess I'd have to say that to me, integrity is similar to "honor."

To be honest not only to yourself but to others. Always stand up for what you believe is right, never taking the middle road....treating others with respect and having high moral standards, and and thanking God everyday that I not only believe this I practice it.
