Without looking in a dictionary, what does "integrity" mean to you?

It's just a little homework assignment, I gotta survey people asking them what "integrity" means to them. Don't look in a dictionary. Just tell me what you think about when you hear that word.

sticking to your guns or doing what you think is right, regardless of personal consequences.

We measure building foundations, security systems, and logic by their integrity, just as we measure ourselves. This is because all of these things are critical yet fragile, and can be rendered valueless by a single weakness. Integrity is strength and soundness. It's an implied promise, it's worthiness of trust. Without integrity, buildings fall, security is breached, logic fails, and people --whether they know it or not-- are disgraced.

Someone who has integrity is someone you can trust. Someone you can do business with, and if you have a problem will take care of it for you. A car mechanic who has integrity will repair your car for you as promised.
