I already have a tatoo on one arm and want to do my own job on my other. I want a skull and crossbones, to symbolise the fight for freedom against corparate pigs, by software pirates worldwide. I want to do this one myself and have a carpenter/stanley knife ready. I guess I just soke the knife in bleach and cut away, but want to make the mark last.

Anyone know anything about alternative tatoo with a knife? If I get inked on my other arm it will look lame, so I want a knife tatoo. White by the way, so won't look great but will serve a purpose.

Do this to yourself, and people will think you've been in prison.

Consider this very carefully before you do it. It can't be undone. If you have to have this tattoo, wait until you can get it done by a professional.

I have worked in a nursing home. You should see how ugly tattoos look on old wrinkled skin.

i think if you go get it professionally done your way better off, i mean it may get infected an then you will have a big scar blob. scarification from a professional will still be as hard core but will look better too an people would be able to reconize what it is. a knife just puts a slit in the skin that can close instantly why do you think they use branding in all those college affiliations? cause a knife isnt going to heal accuratly

think this thoroughly, there are many veins and arteries in the arm. if you really want to have a tat or scarification done, have a professional do it.

first cut probably OK, but when the paint start, your other arm will shaken and tremble and you will cut deeper into the other arm.

if you cut too deeply, chances are you will severed your arteries and bleed to death. I suggest you don't do it til you talk to a professional first.

regular knife has million of bacterias on it, so you will get infected and you going to loose an arm.

Its not worth it!

Dude...first off...you should listen to Otep's "Warhead" :) Trust me...if you haven't...it'll do wonders for you :)

Second yes....if you really think that's the way to symbolize everything you want it to then by all means go for it. I wouldn't use bleach, though...I'd boil some water and get a piercing kit with antiseptic to clean the knife with.

Look, I've stuck all sorts of holes in my skin but never anything like cutting a skull so...I think you're kinda brave.

but hey...im just a chick...what do i know.

No way. If you want to speak out - get a website and really voice your opinions. Let the world know how you feel, not just those who see your arm, and may not understand your point anyway.

Don't ever cut yourself. You are risking infection, and there is no guarantee how it will look. Once it's done, you may regret it forever.

If you want to try to kill yourself then by all means cut your arm open with a carpenter knife.

Making a statement is what matters. Do it yourself.

However, be careful and sterilize that knife.

Caution is good.
