I don't know about thanksgiving but originally peacock was the meat of choice in great britain to celebrate christmas. It's popularity waned when turkeys were brought over from the united states as they were considered more exotic. How about that for irony!

Maybe, but, just like Ostrich, it's probably very tasteless unless you happen to be an Iron Chief who is good at a cooking process called reduction- boiling or other processes that reduce the concentration of the food in question that causes it to intensify and increase in flavour.

Well I do, I dunno about the rest of you.
It's actually pretty good with a little lime and some TEQUILLAAAAAA
then again, I do live in Iraq.
But on the bright side, my boyfriend just got run over by a
billy goat yesterday.

Its meat is tough and not well-suited for consumption.
