The Blues are building and have some awesome prospects in Erik Johnson, T.J Oshie, Patrik Berglund, Ben Bishop and Marek Schawrz. They have also got a pretty good young core team with Jackman, Backes, Stempniak, Cajanek etc. These are the guys who will make up the eventual contending St. Louis Blues, and it won't take that long. Within 3 years the Blues will have these guys up and playing, along with the draft picks from this year, and the team should be scary again. the 2010-11 season or the 2011-12 season should be the sweet spot for the Blues, these youngsters will have some years under their belt and if the Management can give them some veterans to play with they should be in prime position to go deep. Depending on how fast these players develop we could be seeing Blue Notes in the play-offs even by 2008-09. So don't despair Blues fan, your time will come, and it won't be that far from now!

it's possible. Of the 40 years they've been in St. Louis, they've been to the playoffs 34 of those years. Last year was horrible, and this year was mediocre, but next year looks to be better. With prospects Erik Johnson and possibly TJ Oshie coming in, it's not a big stretch to think that they'll be Stanley Cup contenders within the next few years. So, yes, I think eventually they will win the Stanley Cup.

As far as who they are, they're the NHL team in St. Louis, Missouri. They were founded in 1967 and have been a pretty good team over the years.

i don't think of so. The blues situation is in assessment to maximum useful communities they don;t have a number of superstars. All stanley cup champion communities in the cap era are equipped with a team of stars and then a team of place gamers, there is particularly little center floor. The blues, besides the shown fact that, are equipped with a team of first rate gamers yet no superstars, that's harder to maintain your gamers whilst there are a team of first rate ones particularly than some great ones. additionally, the blues are going with short term contracts consequently they are going to finally end up having issues preserving all of their gamers in some years. in the event that they went with long term bargains there could be extra funds in line with 300 and sixty 5 days yet they could would desire to do away with some gamers desirable now, the blues are giving their youthful gamers short term bargains so they'd extra advantageous tell who is going to be stable sooner or later. this would nicely be a clever pass for the destiny besides the shown fact that it makes it probably that some youthful gamers including perron, johnson, bakes, or oshie would be long previous in some years till now the blues replace into genuine contenders.

As long as they continue to have a team in St. Louis statistics would be in their favor to eventually win The Stanely Cup. Many people thought Pittsburgh would never win and then they drafted Lemieux and later drafted Jagr. Afterwards they traded for Ulf and Francis to put them over the top.

As long as the Blues management does not screw it up the drafting system is set up to allow teams to put themselves into a position to be a contender.
