Rate the following processors in terms of their performace & life

1. Intel Core 2 Due t 5200 1.6Ghz

2. AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-52 Dual Core

AMD typically runs lower temperatures than Intel chips. Its one of the reasons why techies like AMD. Low temperature means more overclocking.

The higher the Ghz, the LESS power the processor needs to operate. Both of these processors run at 1.6Ghz so choosing based on clock rate is out of the question.

In this instance, I would say the AMD chip is better simply because it wont get as hot and its probably cheaper, or coming with more RAM/HD space/whatever else.

I think the Core2Duo would probably be better. Generally, the intel Processors are more energy efficient than the AMD AMD processors while providing roughly the same amount of powr.

amd is a much better processor but take it from me, i have a laptop with a t7200 core 2 duo and intel beat amd hands down on laptops. i would sugest upgrading to t7200 core 2 duo for the price difference youll love it

intel is better becoz amd will heat soon
if its pc amd is ok.
