if i did i would be 21 by the time he/she would be born.....i feel as though im having a crisis becuase of work. But my home and love life is stable and has been for 5 years......my bf also makes good money......and what about my body?? coz im only 55kg's and small framed.......i dont think i will end up having a baby becuase mentally im not ready yet......and maybe its coz my friends have kids??? words of advice please??

Yes your are old engouh , nobody is really ever ready to have kids. Advice -your kids come first, you will no longer just be able to go up to the store by yourself or go to the bathroom by yourself. But its great you get to pass your genes on for the next generation. I had one at 21 , but I was not in a stable relationship and Im paying the price for that now.

I'm 19 at the moment, and due in June. I'll be almost 20 by the time I have her. I went through this same crisis when I began. I was also somewhat small when I started out too. The best thing to do is to prepare yourself for this wonderful journey! Your body will grow and shape itself to house a baby, but if you eat properly, you won't gain much excess weight.
As for your job, you shouldn't have to worry too much about it. Any job has to give you time off to have the baby and recover, and then allow you to come back when it's time. Just make sure that you're not doing anything too stressful on yourself and your body.
Having a baby can be rough at first, but in the long run it can be totally worth it. If you can wait until you're more prepared mentally, that's the best way to go about it. Good luck in having a child sometime, whether its soon or not.

dont have a baby 21 seems old but in 5 or so years you will look back and say wow i was still so young at age 21...so no dont do it just because and money isnt everything raising kids takes a lot out of a person besides in your question you even say that you arent ready so your not ready leave it at that!!...travel the world buy a house or a car take some vacations enjoy yourself kid free for a few more years then rethink this again!! thats my advise

sounds like your not ready to have one just yet mentally but i had a baby at 19 sure it's hard as you cant go out and party as much but i wouldnt change it for anything. and 55kgs is small but my sister is small like that and has had 2 kids naturally.
Remember a baby is not a trend they are hard work just because your friends have one doesnt mean you need one.
do it when you and your boyfriend are ready you have got all the time in the world as you said your only 20

I don't think there is a perfect age, but having a child is a huge decision. How does your partner feel about it?
Talk to him about it, being unhappy at work probably isn't the best reason. Caring for a child can be stressful too!
Motherhood is fantastic especially if you are ready to embrass it completely, goodluck with your decision.

Your'e cheating the child of happiness if you bring it into a world where your bf won't even commit to being there forever. Marriage is a psychological and legal promise to provide,not just fianancially but emotionally, too.
