A Hollywood actress doesn't get paid to sleep with men (at least not directly), and they don't need the money anyway. So, they give it away for free. They also don't have a pimp.
Some of them may be promiscuous, but not technically considered prostitutes...On second thought, maybe their agent could be their pimp. In Hollywood, anything is possible!

I know many women I slept with are housewives, colleagues, friends' sisters and even relatives. Only thing no one knows because they are not famous. It is common for any women to sleep with anyone but the only thing we do not know who slept with whom. Because she is an actress the limelight thrown onto them and they cannot keep their privacy and the paparazzi are everywhere to announce to the world. You cannot compare prostitutes with actress as prostitutes do not have talent and they will sleep with anyone as long as they get paid. Prostitutes have choice not to be a prostitute but they want a quick money and I know many have return to their normal life after being a prostitute for many years, poor husband did no know what her background is. An actress only sleep with someone that is equal to her status and of course they are talented and beautiful. I am not an actor or actress but these artiste are highly regards in the society and whatever they do in their private life is their business.

It is a daily living for most prostitutes. For the stars.....well, all i can say is they use it as a promotion tool. You know, no such thing as bad publicity and all that jazz. what they don't realize is that it makes them just another stat on the guys books. Well, i hope that they at least have fun giving it away like that. Just proves they have no standards.
