What sort of annoyance is it?
Is it persistant?
And how close are you with this friend?

If it's a close best friend, i think it'd be a good idea to tell them nicely. You wouldn't want to lose the valuable friendship. If it's something you can deal with then do that. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices and just accept them for everything they are.

If it's something that just keeps nagging at you then you should definitely tell them. That way it doesn't build up and eventually burst out.

but...if it's just an acquaintance it's alright ot tell them. Afterall, you might not be the only one who find this characteristic annoying. It'd all be for the better.
And in the end, everything happens for a reason.

Tell them that they're annoying the crap out of you and you want them to back off... If they don't back off, consider the fact that they may not truly be a friend.

I would guess that the friend is more like an aquaintance then a friend. Just my guess, if you get annoyed at (her?) so easily. Try talking it out. This (thing, or action) makes me feel weird, why do you do that? Maybe they think you like it since you laugh at it usually?

Who knows, hopefully you are less bored now reading my humble question. :-)

Good luck to you, but hopefully you treat her like a friend and have some compassion to her feelings before you destroy her feelings by something rude or inconsiderate, like ditching her when you and your friends go out.

just tell them plain and simple. . . . .YOU ARE ANNOYING THE CRAP OUT OF ME. Works for me. My best friend and I are very up front with one another. If we go anywhere I MUST do the driving since she drives worse than God's grandmother. If we just can't see eye to eye on something I just tell her to go to hell and she tells me the same and then we are fine after we have just agreed to disagree. I'm sorry you are bored. Me too. Can't sleep.

You could be a little nice by asking the question...

But if he/she is annoying, tell them nicely, "i'm sorry, but u seem to be bothering me a lot." don't be plain out, "get the hell outta my face u annoying *****", or just, leave me a lone would work. Really, I'm an open minded person, just tell them how ya feel.

Just talk to them and tell what you are feeling. If they are a true friend, they will understand where you are coming from, even though it may hurt a little.

You could say something like, "I really like you as a friend and all, but could you please give me some space?" Or somethingl like that, if they don't understand you, well...at least you told them how you felt and was honest about it. Good luck! :D

be straight forward with your friend, usually people who are annoying don't have any have many good Qualities... now being honest and straight foward is a great quality that now adays people lack. since your friend doesn't make sence and is annoying, have some sence to set her straight and maybe by doing this you'll raise the quality of your friends, or maybe she'll make her best not to annoy you.
