Yeah I think it should be in Family & Relationships. Problem is so many straight people see it as the "gay culture" and don't get that we are just dating, having relationships and raising families. Which would mean LGBT should be alongside 'Singles & Dating' and 'Marriage & Divorce'. Not stuck with 'Mythology'.

Not really. I assume that GLBT folks are quite welcome to post in the Family and Relationship Category. That this section is here is related to the idea of the GLBT culture and community, much in the way that questions about races and ethnicities go under Cultures and Groups, because they're asking about overall culture and community.
At least, that's how I've understood it.

I never thought of it that way. Now that you mention it - this category SHOULD be in the family & relationships section...
It would at least move us away from the religious freaks!!

Eh. I guess it's all a matter of perspective. Right now, I'm just glad there's a section about this on here; this way, once in a while, when people post real, sincere questions and get sincere feedback, other young, and confused gay men and women can reference this forum as a tool to guide them through an otherwise troubling time.

It does to some degree, especially since they put it next to "Religion and Spirituality" so we get all the religious FREAKS trolling over here!

no it's they're choice to be what they want to be and what you make of yourself is you why should it bother you what they want to be your not making decisions for them it's them that make themselves to be that way, so ignore them.
