Virginity is not determined by your Hyman. The Hyman can be ruptured by any number of other activities, such as sports, vigorous washing, etc.
What are the in-laws waiting to do the inspection? You can have it reconstructed, this is so wrong, but I don't know what expectations you have to live with. Good luck.

The condition of the hymen is not a reliable indicator of whether is still a virgin or not. Since some girls are born without a hymen. Although the significance of the hymen is a traditional belief that an intact hymen indicates a state of intact virginity. However, it is not impossible to confirm that a woman or post pubescent girl is a virgin by examining the hymen.

Hymen isn't a good testing method and people of the modern world should know that, many women break their hymens in other ways, for instance I think that I broke mine while in a bike accident when I lost my virginity I didn't bleed at all.
If you have sex you are NOT a virgin in any way shape or form, but if your hymen is still in tact you can lie to some ignorant man that doesn't relaize that isn't always the best indicator.

You make it sound as if a woman has more than 1 hymen. If your hymen is intact, that means you haven't had penetrative sex, then yes you are a virgin. On the other hand if THE HYMEN is broken which can be caused by penetrative sex, or an accident( mostly on bicycles) then you are no longer a virgin, and this hymen will not grow back.

YES and NO!
Many virgins have had their hyman torn without ever having sex or a medical exam. So sadly, not having a hyman intact, doesn't mean soemone isn't a virgin. Just as having a partially intact hyman doesn't mean you haven't had sex or given birth. HOW DO I KNOW? I had a friend once who had a lot of bleeding, the doctor checked and after three births, she still had a Partially in take Hyman, her hyman was that flexible.
I know also women who have had a doctor say they were not a virgin, just because their hyman was no longer in tact, yet they were.
My neice, when she was about 7 years old, was playing on a trapolin, the springs were not protected and she fell in such a way, that he spring went up inside her. It tore her up really bad, and destroyed her hyman. But she was a virgin until the day she married.
You just can't use a Hyman being in tac tor not as a sign of virginity, becuase I've also know two women who were married, were not conceiving, went to the OB/GYN and were told that their Hyman never broke and needed to be cut, that it was so flexible that having sex wtih tehir husbands had not broken it and that was why they were not getting pregnant, is the sperm could not get past their intact hymans.
Hope that helps answer your question.

The existance of the hymen really has no indication of virginity. Many active girls lose this thin membrane covering from simple activity, like bicycle-riding or other sports. Some girls are not born with much of one at all. If a girl is a virgin, her reputation and her honesty would speak more truly of this than the presence or absence of the hymen.

Old wise tell says, if the hymen is not broken then yes you are a virgin, if the hymen broken it is to say someone bust you cherry, mean you are not a virgin anymore.

Virginity is lost only if you have a penis penetrate your vagina. Hymen can be broken by cycling or some exercises,so a broken hymen does not guarantee anything.
