I also have Norton installed on my PC. I've had the same problem once. First, you should find out the name of the Trojan. It should be in the quarantined section of Norton. Once you have the name, go to the Symantec website I posted below. Once you're there, download a patch specifically made to remove that specific Trojan Horse. Every Trojan has it's own patch so you have to be sure. After downloading the patch, double click on it & it should run automatically. That should do the trick. Good luck.

Trojan Horse is one different category of malware than usual virus or worms.
Trojan Horse is malign program being programmed and disguised inside a benign and harmless program; in that regard it won't infect anywhere else but only way to fix it that harmless program must be deleted, Norton says it has found a TH but file somehow cannot be deleted.
Somehow Norton cannot exercise any cleaning task to the file where the Trojan Horse is found.

Attempt removal of the trojan, while your computer is in Safe Mode.
No A-V is even close to being 100% effective 100% of the time as new viruses and other malware are created every hour of every day. This especially hurts apps like Norton which update on an infrequent basis.
Good luck.

I think, you have some adons in your browser or other softwares. Use some free adon remover , such as spybot.. And there is no trojan, if you select yes to detect trojan .. then only you will get the trojan's.

chum, AVG is the form of anti-virus you will possibly acquire if your working off of a firewall and/or router or something like that. AVG cant stand up to severe viruses. purchase Norton Antivirus 2007 and run an entire test, which will do the trick, have faith me.
