His mass killings of 12 million people and the ruthless war that he led that killed millions more was not very funny. Was it? I could personally care less if he told one affective joke in his life.

For the view of Germans, he may be a good man. The treaty of Versailles was very harsh to let Germans to accept it. Not only did Germany lost the territories and military powers, but also she was forced to accept the role responsibility and the war guilt. This humiliating Treaty contributed the rise of Hitler since the Germans wanted a strong leader to against the Treaty.

For the view of the victims, Hilter invaded Austria and declared Anschluss. And he wanted to get the Sudetenland in 1938. After the acquisition in 1938, he invaded the whole Czechoslovakia. At that time, Britain and France did not start the Second War world. However, his ambition is whole Europe and attacked Poland which directly caused WWII.

Generally speaking, whether he was a humour or not. It depends on the views of different people. In my comment, i think he is not a good man because he squarely contributed the WWII which costed a number of billions and 80 miilions people died in WWII.

Adolf Hitler's sense of humour was more the Munich Beer Hall sense of humour and probably more a soldier's sense of humour since that's exactly what he had been in his youth - a squaddie in the German Army of WW-One.

Yes, Hitler did indeed have what might be called the Charlie Chaplin moustache. Chaplin made a movie in c1940 called "The Great Dictator" - see this and have a laugh at Hitler's expense.

Somebody recorded once that hitler saw "The Great Dictator" with Char Chaplin satirising him. Charlie Chaplin of course had a marvellous sense of humour. R Atkinson didn't.

Actually, no, he didn't. When he was in prison, other prisoners found him to be very serious and humorless. He mostly rambled on & on about his master plan which is why he wrote that book of his.

The 'stache is an odd choice though. I've never quite understood it. I doubt he got it from Chaplin since Chaplin was Jewish and hated Hitler. There is a hilarious movie about Hitler made by Chaplin. It's called The Great Dictator. Good stuff.

He didn't find the Great Dictator to be funny. Instead he put Chaplin high up on his list of people to kill. I on the other hand, think that the dance with the world is hilarious.

Measured against what standard?
I'd say he probably did but he's not remembered for it.

As for the top lip covering: no not like Mr Chaplins

This question is idiotic. Who cares. If the devil incarnate had a sense of humor, it would be evil also. I find the the question offensive. It's hard to have a sense of humor in the midst of genocide.

I don't Know ,but he was a marvellous dancer , danced all over Europe and he did eventually marry Eva Braun that does show a degree of sardonic Irony

There are home movies of Hitler cavorting with Eva Braun and his nazi pals at Berchtesgarden, his "Eagles Nest" in the Bavarian Alps. He can be seen strutting and laughing.
