The United States does not have a faith, it has no religion and the Constitution forbids its having one. Mind you, to see some of the representatives of the USA in action you would think it was a fundamentalist Christian State on a par with fundamentalist Islamic States. The only hope for the world is that the US Constitution slows down the fundies so that sanity can prevail.

The US shouldnt have one dominant faith but never the less, its a predominantly Catholic country. But I think that will change with time. I'd love to see the day when we have a president who is something other than a white, Christian male.

No. "we" can't but He can. God can do anything. He is totally in another realm. If He wants to He can make everyone Christian. "What is impossible with man is possible with God" However, while He loves every man and "let's the rain fall on the righteous and unrighteous" there are going to be certain people that will never turn to Him.
