I planned on getting a bikini before I try a brazillian wax, or should I not even go that far? How bad is the pain?

Well reach down and grab some hair and yank it out.

now , how did that feel ?

theres your answer.

You didn't think having someone else rip the hair out was gonna make it less painful did you?

just think of it as practice giving birth.......lol

instead of it feeling like you pulled your lower lip over your head, it will just feel like you pulled your lower lip over your nose.

Razor bumps don't seem so bad now, do they ?

Depends on several things:

1. How far "in" are you going to go? The closer "in" the more sensitive it is.
2. Your personal pain tolerance
3. Does the person who is doing it actually know the correct way to do it, not only clearing the hair properly but also minimize the discomfort.
4. Please check and make sure they are sanitary and do not "double dip" into the wax with the same applicator. Make them pull a new applicator each time...they can use both ends of the applicator once, then get a new one. But people tend to bleed there, so if they are not doing this with clean applicators on you, then you know they didn't with someone else and their blood could be in the wax, too.
5. I would not trust the heat of the wax to kill the germs

The first time you get it done it will hurt due to the fact that your hair has grown in to the subcutaneous tissue. If you have been shaving the bulb of your hair will have grown back thicker. It also hurts more around the time before you period.

The upside is if you keep up regular appointments with the waxing technician the hair will grow back thinner and wont hurt as much.

ok. look. i'm a classic (as we communicate) guy. No, i'm no longer a metrosexual, and that i in no way had any form of wax. So , definite it is going to break, plenty, yet beleive you me. the conventional adult adult males will pay plenty extra interest to you, and admire you, for suffering the soreness, for it. Do it! it extremely isn't the 1970's. No hair down there, is the place its at precise now, and could stay like that for a decade or extra.

Less than a tatoo, toothache, or childbirth. More than shaving and getting a nick, more than an Indian burn, more than a sunburn. Don't be a wimp! You'll look great! Just bathe with cool water for the next day or so!

omgz! alot, whatever u do dont take asprin or anything, itll make u more prone to bleeding when u go to get it done. a topical anesthetic is much better, usually lasts about 10 - 15 mintues if u were wanting to dull the pain. :) good luck!
