I know there are lots of things that guys do for their ladies..
but what are girls supposed to buy for their date for the senior prom?
tie? vest?... or.....

A boutineere? Sorry, don't know how to spell. The guy buys the girl a corsage, and she buys him a boutineere, which is like a flower matching thing that pins on his tux.

I have never heard of the girl getting something for the guy for prom, but I do know that you are suppose to get him a flower to wear on his tux. If you really want to get him something, you could go to Walmart and they carry really neat looking pocket watches on a chain. This would be a nice accessory for his tux and a nice reminder of prom. They run about 15-20 dollars and I have seen them as low as 10 dollars. A tie clip, or a money clip would also be a nice gift. Hope you enjoy your prom and have fun!!!

Ladies buy their dates Boutonieers. Those are the flowers that are pinned on to your jacket. The flower should match the corsage. Corsage should have a color scheme to go with your dress.

a beutiful red rose for him! unless it totaly doesnt go with youre dress or his tux. ivre herd in a mag once that you should match your date like you ware a red dress and him a red tie. im sorry if i didnt helpif your going to prom try to help me with what i should ware for 8th grade grad see my question
