I'm looking for ways to get $10 thousand dollars to help expand my business. I have no credit therefore I don't think I would get approved for a credit card. I was thinking about getting either a small business loan or grant from the government but I am unsure how that process works. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Since I don't know much about your business, it's hard to give you specifics. Try getting involved in your city's Chamber of Commerce. They will know about possible investors and sources for optional funding. (If you are a woman or have a minority-owned business, there are grants available from the federal and state governments.)
Wish I could be of more help...
EDIT: Just thought of something. If you have your business plan available for future investors, you will have a better chance of getting some help. When applying for a grant, you'll need to have one anyway. There are tons of web resources to help you get started if you don't have one already.

Why don't you round up some investors in your business? Sell some shares for a specified amount of money.
