I don't want rhetoric or BS. I don't want your feelings. If you want to call a man a liar, back it up. How do you know he didn't say what he was informed of as a fact. He wasn't in the CIA or FBI. Did he appoint the Directors of either organization? A lot of politicians made statements about Iraq and WMDs, including the Clintons, Gore, Kerry & Pelosi. Were they liars or just misinformed?
Quit your whining and stay behind your president and the fighting men and women over there!
He is the President of the United States and you elected him, either with your vote or by not voting against him.
Live with it!

I asked for facts and you both sent me to sites that are from individuals or a "Thought" site. They quote others in interviews as saying things, not Bush.
I'm not pro Bush, I'm just tired of the mindless bashing without fact still.

Surfer! Wow Are You a Lawyer or in law school? If not where did you get it or who copied for you? If it were all true, I don't know why we haven't taken the whole administration out and shot them on the White House lawn. You wanted to hear me say that didn't you? If we got excited about a little stain on a dress, why not all this?

All of you have the right to speak. I don't want to take it away from you. You have the right to tell lies about the President. You have the right to blame him for what others have said. I just don't have to like or agree with it. That''s my right. Those rights are paid for by those that believe they will win if given the chance. We have the right not to believe you or accept your disrespect for him. I can say that I served my country, honorably, for 7 years. So, yes, I have sacrificed something for my country. 177? Did this number come close to the total the votes by Dems? Mere interpretation of that in speech. Why should I move to a 3rd world country, I not dissatisfied with this government or country. You go and see how you like it over there!

Sorry this is my right as an American to either like or dislike my President and the right to say it out loud whether you like it or not. Just because he is the president does not mean that I should accept the way he is running it. I'm tired of people saying that because we are against the war can only mean we don't support our troops, I support those young men and women giving their lives for me do you? What have you done to show your support what have you sacrificed in your daily life to show your patriotism? The president is the person elected to represent the people of the U.S. we are the people and it is our duty to question and agree or disagree with the decisions that affect me and my family. When he makes a decision it not only affects him it affects all of us so when I feel that my president is not acting on my best interest then you can be certain that I will be as you put it whining and protesting my butt off so that the whole world can hear me. He has forgotten that he is a President not a dicator who does what he wants when he wants and that rules do not apply to him. I can not stand behind a man who clearly is not honest and isn't man enough to admit that he was wrong.

It doesn't matter what you call him. What is he doing to help
his own people? The whole terrorism angle is an overplayed
scenario in order to get people to fall in with his view. He took
our troops to Iraq for weapons of mass destruction when the
biggest weapon of mass destruction (Osama) was hiding in
a cave somewhere in Afghanistan / Pakistan. Can you give me
some ideas as to why people defend this President, and what
he has done for them to make them feel that way? Is it just
that he's from a politicial party.. that suddenly makes him an
okay guy to some people. Get past the political parties.

Numerous people by his selection have lied. Gonzales, Rove, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Rice and Snow for starters. It seems anyone associated with his Adm lies through their noses. I saw Snow trying to back-up the jailing of our two Border Agents and that's a joke. Rice & Cheney lied about aluminum tubes ordered by Iraq 'thought' to be for WMD's(like they would freely order crucial parts for WMD's on the net). They were later proved to be the wrong length, width and thickness. Rumsfeld assuring the troops it would just be a 6 mos. tour in Iraq. Something that did not get much protest--

History lesson for the 20 pionts of whatever some put up.
The UN charter isn't worth the paper it is written on. without the US there is no UN. this is exactly why congress would not let Wilson put us in with the league of nations after world war 1.
FDR is the biggest usurper in the history of the US. Bush couldn't even pull off what FDR did in his wildest dreams. By the way, FDR was a Democrat for those of you who didn't know.

Mr. Bush claimed, quote, "177 of the opposition party said, 'You know, we don't think we ought to be listening to the conversations of terrorists.'"
Tuesday, at another fundraiser in California, he had said, "Democrats take a law enforcement approach to terrorism. That means America will wait until we're attacked again before we respond."
"If you listen closely to some of the leaders of the Democratic Party," the president said at another fundraiser Monday in Nevada, "it sounds like they think the best way to protect the American people is -- wait until we're attacked again."
"One hundred and seventy-seven of the opposition party said, 'You know, we don't think we ought to be listening to the conversations of terrorists,' " Bush said at a fundraiser for Rep. Rick Renzi (R-Ariz.) before heading to Colorado for gubernatorial candidate Bob Beauprez.
Asked about the president's statement, White House aides could not name any Democrat who has said that the government should not listen in on terrorists. Democrats who voted against the legislation had complained that it would hand too much power to the president and had said that they wanted more checks in the bill to protect civil liberties. (Washington Post)
Bush's language, though, characterizes Democratic positions through his own prism. Critics of the surveillance program have not argued against listening to terrorist phone calls but say the government should get warrants from a secret intelligence court. Likewise, many critics of the tribunal measure did not oppose interrogating prisoners generally, as Bush said, but specific provisions of the bill, such as denying the right of habeas corpus or giving the president freedom to authorize what they consider torture. (Washington Post)
And he is now saying the Dem's are being partisan by pushing the attorneys issue
THIS IS JUST ONE LIE...I COULD GO ON, BUT IT WOULD FILL PAGES

I don't think Bush deliberately lies to us. I just think he doesn't know what he's doing. So he keeps "fudging" his account of things- so as to keep up with the deterioration in the situations he's trying to manage. He just doesn't take responsibility for the decisions he makes- that go wrong.

Thanks Captain, you made good points here. Comments about Bush being a liar is false. There are no facts regarding Bush, all hearsay and propaganda started by Democrats and their media. I voted for Bush twice, and would again. I support all our Military and also support the "stay the course' and bring our soldiers home with victory , not defeat. Clinton's , Gore, Kerry and Pelosi are the liars. They like to start the propaganda and let the foolish US Citizens spread it for them.
