Divorce was looked down upon in the past, so more people stayed in unhappy marriages. What was the rate of this and can you tell me where you got your information?

Thanks.

There were as many unhappy marriages in the past as there are today. The difference is that in days past, people needed each other. We don't need each other as much as we once did.
