ok heres the thing, i work at a call center and the computers they have used to allow all kinds of access on them, then i guess people abuse the privalege and put it so the computer has to accessed by a administrator. u cannot load anything onto the usb, or the diskette. you cant even change the time. the only think you could do is enter the system settings at the beggining of the start up by pushing f12. these computers are dell with windows xp service pack 1.does anyone know how i can bypass the admin. settings so i can use the computer like a regular computer without restrictions. thanx in advance

Ha-Ha that's easy to get around... the thing is will you listen to what I have to say and do it? Well if you do then this will work and if you don't, then you will not know how to get around it....

first of all what you have to do is download a certain program that operates under the Unix kernel which means that it will look at anything that Microsoft creates a will say to its self "what’s this crap" and push it aside and the program I'm talking about is called trinity rescue kit, which will rest any password and will give you complete rights over the computer... so what you have to do is go to this link

http://trinityhome.org/Home/index.php?wpid=5&front_id=12

And under where it says

Current build: 279
filename: trinity-rescue-kit.3.2-build-279.iso
md5sum: dc7a83f32f0e5e26ce89b4e3314ca2c4

I want you to download the first option that says

Download Trinity Rescue Kit 3.2 build 279 iso from mirror at Tuxinator

which will download as a iso file, which once downloaded you will have to burn to a CD... once you have burnt it to CD you will have to go into the BIOS on your work computer and check that it will boot from a CD, if not then enable it to and also make it boot from the CD before anything else... OK so after that you will then put the CD into your work computer and hit the restart button... OK now your computer will be restarting from the CD and you will get a trinity screen come up... all you have to do it press 1 and then enter, and then wait for it to load... it will come up as a command prompt so after that you will have to do the following enter the word winpass and press enter, then once it goes to the next prompt just press enter again, when the next prompt comes up press enter again, then it will ask you for a new password and all you have to do is put * to leave it blank, then press y to confirm and then enter, once you have done that it will ask you if you want to change any other passwords, if you do and know the username then type winpass u- “the username” and then press enter, and once again put * to leave it blank… once you have finished type reboot (take out the CD) and the hit enter which will quit the program and reboot the computer with no passwords and you will have full access to all accounts… I hope this helps and I hope I didn’t type all this for nothing

Hmm,i think they have disabled the computer accessibility by system or maybe by the registry itself, they maybe change the registry key value to false so u cant done anything. If so u can undo/reset the registry to normal by using some kind registry cleaner that can be download on the internet, can u access the internet?Hmm i dunno either,i'm not a hacker...just posting an opinion...

If you could get them to allow you to install VMware, then you could create virtual machines that are wide open, regular computers not locked down.

You can't really bypass the OS lock down, without reloading.

Hi Rick, don't get into trouble over stupid stuff.. just leave it along. Try working a little harder and then maybe your boss may promote you. Then you won't have to hack into the system because you'll have all the codes and whatever else you'll like, So Stop,Think, Listen...It's not worth it.

Even if you did hack it your administrator would know because they have access to every pc. I have the same problem myself and don't care because I surf the web on my own time at home.

What's your e-mail address? Are you part of this domain of computers? If so, you could either phone the administrator or try e-mailing them and asking them for permission like through postmaster@domainname (whatever it is- like hotmail).com (or whatever the last extension is (like com, org, net, and so on...).

They put that security stuff for a reason.. you should be working! If you try to bypass that stuff and they catch you, they may fire you.. so I suggest just leaving it alone..
