In Tacoma - shoot, what's it called? The Washington State History Museum, maybe? Not your average museum - it's awesome; I've been three times I think, just to see the same WA state history exhibit!
Other museums - Seattle Art Museum, the Burke (in the UW I think), and Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe on the waterfront. That's not really a museum, but they've got Sylvester the mummy on display in the back - LOL, locals go there all the time; you should check it out.
Restaraunts: Anthony's Homeport on the waterfront is a must. (If you like seafood anyway.)
Malls - well, Northgate was the first mall in the States, I believe, and it's a nice mall! I mean, only one story and all; most malls in Seattle are, but still :)
Nature watching - take a ferry ride! I recommend from Edmunds, because that town is lovely and would be good for a stroll around. Oh, and the movie theater there is old and fun :) From the ferries you can sometimes see whales.
One other thing you should check out - Freemont! There's a gigantic troll under one of the bridges, and the culture there is something else. Naked motorcycle races, shrunken heads, real Lenin statue, and much, much nicer things, I promise!

Well, good luck on your trip!

Bars: Jillian's (also great for pool, food, etc) downtown Or Viceroy on 2nd
Restaurant: Capitol Hill: Kingfish Cafe (great soulfood) or down in Belltown you can try Wasabi for great sushi.
Malls: I hate malls LOL but I would say try Bellevue Square, or the outlet malls up north.
Museum: definitely the Museum of Flight!
Art Galleries: Not really an art buff but there are some galleries on 4th I believe...
Nature watching: head up to the San Juan islands or take a ferry ride from the piers downtown...Or since you'll be in Olympia check out the Nisqually Wildlife Reservation.
Tattoo Parlors: Laughing Buddha up on Broadway
Coffeehouse: Well we did MAKE Starbucks!! LOL just kidding try any of the ones on Alki (which is a must if the weather is nice) just ask any local to direct you to Alki. GREATEST view of Seattle EVER!
Rock Venue: Sorry I'm a hip hop kid! Maybe someone can help out here...
Club: yikes, there are many many...Try Venom...I would say if you like rock...Just walk around Pioneer Square on Friday or Saturday night, there are enough clubs there with different venues, you'll find something you like!
Romantic spots: hmmm I guess it depends, I think us locals are a little burned out on the Space Needle but tourists seem to dig that :) it is cool, I mean the restaurant at the top DOES rotate so you see all of Seattle during your dinner!
Hope that helps...

Busselton WA is about 2 hours or so from Perth. It is a great central location to stay. It is a fabulous tourist destination with the Busselton jetty a well known location and the underwater aquarium at the end of the jetty a great place for kids and adults alike. From Busselton you are really close to a place called Cowaramup which has an excellent candy store called the Candy Cow. Yummy. It is also not far to Margaret River for wine tasting. There are 2 cheese factories on the way to Margaret River and a Chocolate Factory and a fudge factory. You can do all this, or simply chill out. All in all an easy location to get to and a good base to explore the rest of the southwest. Hope this helps

I'm from Tacoma...Try the Pt. Defiance Zoo and Aquarium, there's a ferry down there also that goes to Vashon Island. There's Tacoma Mall. There is an outlet mall past Olympia - closer to Chehalis (50 miles south of Oly). Olympia has a Mall, and there's Capital Lake to walk around. Check out the website below for tours of the Capital and other things to do in this area.
